Young readers (ages 6-12) can improve their reading skills and confidence by reading to our friendly and licensed therapy dog, Scout. Each child will have a 15 minute session reading a book to Scout. The sessions will be every other Wednesday afternoon and space is limited so pre-registration is required. Make sure to make a reservation to read to him, we have a few spots available. Scout is waiting! He’s non-judgmental and would love to lay beside you with his ears wide open listening to you read. To register or for more information contact Children’s Services at 919-545-8085.
