I have this in my files from previous chatlist request for dogboarding info:
In response to request for a dog boarder: I recommend Companion Camp in Pittsboro. It is beautifully situated, with lots of space, they take daily long walks (not just on the roadway or parking area), have individual condo’s that don’t stress the dog by being with tons of unfamiliar smells/faces. When our family is not available to watch our lab, we have used them often and with very positive results.

I enthusiastically recommend K-9 Kindercare, south of the circle in Pittsboro. My dogs get excited as soon as we hit the gravel road leading back to facility! Plenty of outside time, plenty of play time, and loving care.
