Hello Chatham County! My name is Jenny and have recently opened an herbal apothecary-eclectic boutique in downtown Pittsboro. I don’t think I could have foreseen that I would one day hold shop in the very space that I had fallen in love with nearly 24 years ago. Getting to know Pam and Snuffy who own the historical building has been a special treat and we hope to carry on in their tradition as passionate Chatham entrepreneurs, along with our buddies at Screaming For Vintage and all of our wonderful shop neighbors. As a NC native (from the coast of the Outer Banks, and Raleigh) we stock many NC artisans work including our latest addition Murphy Ayala Fine Art, on display now.
I am passionate about herbs and all things natural. I am a certified NC Aesthetician and own a holistic spa in Raleigh, NC as well as OAKMOSS. I have studies in herbalism (with Rosemary Gladstar), aromatherapy, and holistic skin care. Oakmoss Attic provides small batch, artisan, botanical products including skin care, perfumes, healing salves, first aid, and herbal tinctures. We also carry organic teas, and organic herbs sold by weight for the family herbalist. In addition to the apothecary you can find lots of provisions befitting of the boheme esthetic such as tribal and other beautiful jewelry, local pottery, vintage, CRYSTALS, and home decor of faraway places. Come and say hello. We have really enjoyed the kind and spirited people of this wonderful town!
