Subject: Hating on an 80 year old on OUR Chatlist?

L. Ingram –

First, I did not realize that the Chatham Chatlist was YOUR Chatlist. I always thought it was OUR list, run by OUR Chatlist admin, Gene.

Second, it takes a whole lot of something to hate on an 80-year old Chatlist member for posting their impressions of life in their little corner of Chatham County on the Chatham Chatlist.

Third, there is a table of contents on the top of each Chatlist that you can review to determine who you want to read (or not.)

I personally enjoy reading N.A. Booko’s posts and I hope they continue to post here.

  1. The observations and information that N.A. Booko post are enjoyable. We could all use the post for a gentler, kinder, and earth-appreciative life.

  2. I hate this chatlist…I dont say that about too many things. My friends and associates have often times asked if I subscribed and without one second thought I tell them why…people on this list are mean to each other…snippy, short, and just plain mean…I have always thought of community, COMMUNITY, as those people who congregate to help each other…to give a leg/hand up, to empower…I guess I should have studied the definition of COMMUNITY a bit better…or maybe, just maybe I picked the wrong community…
