Subject: Tuesday’s Chatlist
The lovely part about this issue of the Chatham Chatlist beyond the postings for lost and found dogs, library happenings and the other nice-to-know people obligingly offer is the tenor of the posts by Lynn Hayes “Chatham Park update” and by: JC Markatos “HB2: like little kids spouting bathroom words..” The emphasis was on in depth information or in depth questioning. I confess that on both these subjects I tend to shoot from the hip in a snarky tone.
Then I encounter an article that tells me I have more work to do or tells me why I have more to learn in order to understand the full impact a Chatham Park will have on my community or the impact a hastily passed HB2 statute will have on downtown Pittsboro decision making. This is why I read the Chatham Chatlist.
Thanks to both of you. You have changed the flavor of the Chatlist today.
