Subject: The Compassionate Friends
The Compassionate Friends, a national support group for families who are dealing with the death of a child, will hold its local 3rd Monday meeting on Monday, April 18, from 7-8:30 pm at the Evergreen United Methodist Church. The church is located at 11098 Rts. 15/501, 1/4 mile south of the Lowe’s food market at Mann’s Chapel Rd. Families may have lost a child of any age, for any reason, no matter how long ago. The group is led by its members, who are all bereaved families. There are no dues or fees, and it is not necessary to call before coming. However, should you wish to talk personally with someone, you may call Kathy at 919-542-2166.
Please note: we are back in our USUAL meeting place, on the grounds of the church, called “The Grove”, a gray building at the very back of the parking lot.
