Subject: Climate change and the involvement of our citizens
I also chuckled at the irony that of a global warming/climate change committee meeting was cancelled due to the winter weather. However, I was also dismayed by the snarky, insulting, discounting and hostile posts re. the interests and work of this committee. I just want to express my appreciation for any and all citizens who take an interest in our community and future, and make their best effort to make a better place for us all to live and breathe.

Something passed by my computer yesterday that is cause for reflection;
The Earth is 4.6 billion years old¦ let’s scale that to 46 years:
We have been here for 4 hours.
Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago.
In that time, we have destroyed more than 50% of the world’s forests.
This is not sustainable.
