Subject: Seasons Greetings and Peace on Earth
This is the time of year to send thanks to all the Chatlisters and Gene Galin who do their part to help each other and make Chatham County a great place to live. It does take time and energy to send helpful messages to the Chatlist and they are much appreciated!
I was glad to hear that some of you have been participating in KindSpring.org. Its just one of the many ways we can spread positive feelings in times of trouble and stress. There are so many ways we can help each other, and many/most of the Chatlist posts do just that. I guess this post is just my Christmas card to all. FYI a great resource these days are Jacquie Lawson e-cards (www.jacquielawson.com). For a nominal fee you can send beautiful musical cards throughout the year. This season has many cards to choose from but they are available throughout the year. I was able to send cards every day for over a year to my sister who was ailing in New York.
For those of you who continue to be tempted to send angry posts, realize that your message will be more helpful if you pause to read your words and consider a more positive re-write. It is hurtful to see how many people have dropped out of the Chatlist because of the negativity in some posts. Some people feel that negativity and anger are helpful and feel justified blasting out their messages. But Psychology does teach us that continued negativity actually harms you more than others. I continue to offer a free session at my Forest Garden office to anyone who feels trapped in their anger and/or hatred.
Lets move on to 2016 helping each other!
