Subject: a “relationship” for rabies shots
Candace writes
Re any vet ought to be willing to give a rabies shot without a “relationship”. “Not true. That’s why vets in a private setting require a physical exam”
They don’t require an exam at the rabies clinic; why at a regular office visit? the risk of an adverse reaction is infinitesimal.
“3. The study on yearly exams for humans has since been discredited as being wrong. An annual physical for our pets makes even more sense than for us. ”
Both statements are false; there is NO scientific evidence that yearly exams for humans or animals are effective. See http://www.sciencebasedmedicine.org/re-thinking-the-annual-physical/
