Subject: Voting Rights and Jury Duty
When I moved from “out in the county” into town, in addition to informing the DMV of my move, I went online and contacted the Chatham County Board of Elections about my change of address. I know that voting and jury duty are the two most powerful means I have at my disposal to influence my government. No one had to tell me to do these things – I found out how to get them done and I did them. They are important to me and I ensured they happened.
