Subject: Business Intro – Joyce’s Music Lessons
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself and my business, “Joyce’s Music Lessons”.
My name is Joyce Bouldin Frank. I was born and have lived in Pittsboro my whole life. I come from a musical family and love to sing and play music. My husband, Mike, and I are in a gospel bluegrass band called “CrossPickin'”, for which I play banjo and some guitar, and supply harmony vocals. I am also the founder and executive director of SonShine & Blessings, a Chatham County, non-profit which supplies care for the elderly and disabled and music lessons for those who can’t afford them otherwise.
Through my private business, “Joyce’s Music Lessons”, I teach piano, guitar, banjo and flute from my home studio, located between Pittsboro and Siler City and accept ages eight and up. I’ve had beginner students as “young” as seventy and teach homeschooled and public schooled children as well as adults. My current rates are $30 per 45-minute weekly lesson. I teach Monday through Thursday from 1:00pm – 5:15pm (last lessons begin at 4:30). I will be glad to give references upon request.
