Subject: Chatham County Parks & Recreation Upcoming Events
On Friday, December 5th , 2014 from 6: 00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chatham County Parks and Recreation will be hosting our 3rd Annual Parents Night Out, registration is open to children in grades K – 8th. Location will be at the Northwest District Park (Dining Hall) in Silk Hope (2413 Woody Store Road, Siler City NC 27344). This is a great opportunity for parents to get in some holiday shopping, enjoy a date night, or just to have a relaxing evening without the kids. We will have games, arts & crafts, a movie and much more to keep the kids busy why the parents are out! Registration cost is $15.00 for one child and $10.00 for each additional sibling. On Friday, December 12th, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. we will be hosting our ” Milk and Cookies with Santa” event at the Northwest District Park -Dining Hall Hope (2413 Woody Store Road, Siler City NC 27344) in Silk Hope. We are excited about this event and the magic memories in which it will bring to your children! Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there and participants will be able to interact with him. He will be reading a holiday story, leading sing-along holiday songs with the children, and each child will also get to have a personal visit with Santa as well as enjoy Santa’s favorite snack with him! We encourage parents to bring their cameras and capture all these special memories! We will even have special photo backdrops and props available this year!
