Subject: Birds Missing
Jo Anne,
I have been wondering the same thing. My birdfeeders are almost untouched. Normally I would have dozens of birds, but there are only a few. This started about 2 months ago for me. I had 8 – 10 goldfinches and a number of other birds feeding and then they disappeared. Before that I have a large group of cardinals and they are all gone too. I have noticed that there are very few birds in the fields around me or on the road sides eating seeds. I wonder if there has been some sort of large scale problem.

I have lived in my house off Hamlets Chapel Rd since 2006. I have
consistently fed the birds and have had a constant supply of all sorts.
BUT, in the past several weeks (maybe a month) I have absolutely NO
birds…not one. I have suet, a seed cake and two bird feeders full of
seeds. They have been full for several weeks….at the times when I would
see most birds (early morning and late evening) there is not one single
bird.
Anybody else having this issue or have any suggestions?
