Subject: Foster a dog or cat for CARE
CARE (Chatham Animal Rescue and Education) is seeking volunteer foster caregivers to provide quality, temporary in-home care for one or more homeless cats and dogs from Chatham County until they can be permanently adopted by a loving home. CARE does not have a shelter. We can only rescue as many animals as we have space for in the homes of our volunteer foster caregivers.
While in the custody of a CARE volunteer, a cat or dog must receive affection, food, shelter and socialization to be successfully adopted. CARE pays for the cost of veterinary care, spay/neuter, vaccines and quality food.
Fostering a cat or dog takes time and energy – both emotional and physical. However, it is a wonderfully rewarding experience!
