If you want to get involved in a wonderfully exciting community resilience, local food and beer event at coming up in Chatham County in October, read on!
The Abundance Foundation is embarking on our 7th Annual Amazing Pittsboro Pepper Festival, which will be held Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Great Meadow Park at Briar Chapel from 3-7 PM. The logo for this year’s festival’s large hand screen-printed posters, pint glasses and organic cotton t-shirts is in the works.
This year’s festival will take place in a new park and in addition to the 40+ local food and beverage vendors, we will building up the hands-on entertainment and education portion of the event. More collaborations means more delicious, fun and entertaining memories than ever before and we would love to have you all participate as a PEPPER SPONSOR (see sponsor levels and benefits link here:

This festival is an all-ages celebration of sustainable agriculture, peppers, and creativity! We think this local food and community event geared toward strengthening communities across North Carolina aligns with your values. 100% of proceeds benefit education, action and research taking place at Abundance Foundation and Piedmont Biofarm.
We’ll have around 40+ chefs, brewers, distillers and food artisans from the Piedmont of North Carolina showing off their creativity and serving amazing, fresh, pepper-centric food to the 1500+ attendees. We will also be showcasing non-profits, alternative energy businesses, and community groups that are working towards the same goals of building community resilience. As always, exciting kids’ activities, new workshops, great live bands, giant bubbles, and unexpected delights will all be a part of the day!
