Subject: shooting safely…
over the past fouth of July there was a few fireworks in the area. as I sat on the front porch admiring them from a distance, I noticed there was gunfire as well.
rifle as well as pistol shots cracked the air. now, I have shot, I shoot, and I shall shoot again. BUT, I am aware of where I am shooting!!
the next afternoon when my wife got in from work, she noticed a piece of our siding had been damaged.
yes, after looking at the damage, I determined it was a small calibre bullet hole….about fifteen feet from where I had been sitting!
just one example of how careless actions by an individual (or a few) can impact perceptions of the many.
be careful out there…
