Subject: Looking for Clean Jordan Lake committee volunteers
Clean Jordan Lake produced this new 5-min video about the long term solution to the trash problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?
We need volunteers to help plan and execute a wide range of activities. Please let me know if you would be interested in serving on one of the following committees:
– Adopt-A-Shoreline Program ( maintain an email list of group leaders, add cleanup statistics to existing Excel spreadsheet, contact leaders to remind them of commitment to schedule cleanups, reply to new groups requesting adoption sites, maintain existing map of sites, order and install signs)
– Semi-annual Cleanups ( serve as a Track Captain at the cleanup area, handle registration, deal with logistics, send emails to recruit volunteers, write press releases, obtain merchandise prizes for Trash Treasure Hunt, obtain food and beverage donations)
-Community Service Days by Groups (e.g., act as point of contact for one event per year, select a cleanup site, make logistical arrangements with partner organizations)
-Boating Community (seek volunteers and financial support)
