Subject: This Week @ The City Tap

Good morning Chatlisters, better rest those bones before Friday b/c we’ve got ‘good times’ in store…We’ll probably need to batten down the Tap Friday to make it through the night, but no need to worry, the Tap is up to it and we’ve got good tunes all weekend long to look forward to anyway. In the famous words of a special birthday boy today, this weekend looks “Dyno-mite!”

Wednesday @ 8:00 -* Open Mic*
Come check out some of Pittsboro’s talent at Open Mic!  As always on Wednesdays it’s $1 off draft beer as well

Friday @ 8:30 PM – *Dexter Romweber Duo*
For a quarter century, Dex Romweber has trolled the dark corners and back shelves of the haunted thrift store of Americana and honed an extraordinary sound, a particular and readily identifiable DEXness for those in the know. It’s a collection of surf, proto-rockabilly, garage, dark and vengeful blues, and nobody plays it like Dex.  The Duo also features Dexter’s sibling *Sara Romweber* (Mitch Easter, Lets Active, Snatches of Pink) on drums.  Don’t be fooled by her slight frame or affable demeanor, she smacks her kit like few others.  The Dex Romweber Duo is a potent combo that’ll get your leg twitching with the beat and your heart racing -and sometimes breaking- with the feral excitement of music. If it doesn’t, you might want to consider turning in your “I Heart Rock n Roll†badge.  Seriously

Saturday @ 8:30 PM – *The Holland Brothers*
When twin brothers Mark and Michael Holland ended their long-time rock act Jennyanykind in 2012, they set their sights on a stripped-down old-time folk, country and blues act that could showcase choice covers, original songwriting and different solo styles.
