Subject: Siler City Development Organization
I want every Chatlister and everyone that Chatlisters communicate with to be aware of the Siler City Development Organization and our inclusive outreach to the entire community. We are increasing our maximum Board membership from 11 to 15 and synchronizing rotating 3 year terms with our fiscal year starting July 1st. If you can help with time, energy, ideas or money with greater personal facility than with Board membership, that may often be even more useful and is a consideration for me as a ‘founding’ member of the Board.
The following is an excerpt from the minutes of April meeting and we meet monthly and this Wed 14 May at 2 PM at 124 N. Chatham Ave, the Income Development Center.
“SCDO! Board development. The four pillars supporting the organization are the ability to organize, communicate, connect with the community, and commit resources.”
Other Board members present at the April meeting are Ann Bass, Zoann Adams, Diana Hales, Pam Hawe, Eric Jonus, Jack Meadows, Chip Price, Dianne Reid.
