Subject: Sorry I did not include Mrs. Hales apology in my OP…
Mr./Ms A. is correct.
I did not include Diana Hales’ apology in my original post on May 8th. I want to apologize to Mrs. Hales and all of the Hales supporters, in front of all 5000+ chatlist subscribers for leaving that out. See, I wasn’t one of the half dozen or so people at the Board of commission work session on July 15th, 2013 where Mrs Hales made her apology. If I made my apology in an ATM vestibule could I still say I apologized? Diana “the Faux Quoter” Hales attributes something revolting to Brian Bock, sends it out to the chatlist which has more than 5000+ subscribers, then apologizes in front of maybe a dozen people at a July BOC Work session? Look at how hard the Faux Quoter tried get this lie printed in the Chatham County Line:
“I heard him make that statement to Commissioner Kost (he sits next to her) and the resulting vote to defeat HIS OWN MOTION is PROOF. I would be interested in viewing this video as well, or the audio record of the meeting since it should have been captured.”—Diane Hales*

Did she work this hard to get her apology in the Chatham County Line?
One of the planks of the Hales campaign is transparency. This is interesting because it is the GOP led board that instituted video recording all of the BOC meetings. I bet she wishes they were a little less transparent now because without that video the Faux Quoter’s lie would now be fact.
Chatham Democrats chose the wrong candidate in the primary.

Subject: Muddylaces’ Chatlist post
Muddylaces neglected to include in his/her May 8 Chatlist post titled
Chatham Strong is icky, in which he/she asserted that Diana Hales lied,
that at the following BOC meeting on 7/15/13, during public input Diana
said, “I want to publicly apologize toComissionerBrian Bock “for falsely
attributing a statement to him . . ” Diana went on to explain that during
the June meeting Brian Bock had nominated a candidate for appointment to
the EDCBoard of Directors, followed by Sally Kost’sgiving a brief review of
the nominee’s resume including her being a Siler City business owner, an
artist and affiliated with the Arts Incubator. Bock then voted with Petty
and Stewart against his own motion, which Diana stated “led to my
conclusion, but it was not factual. For my error, I do sincerely apologize.”
Diana’s statement can be found in the minutes for that meeting, under
Public Input.”
