Subject: Free showing of “Chasing Ice” documentary at the Chatham Community Library on March 18th

On March 18th (Tuesday) from 7-9 pm, the NC Interfaith Power & Light will sponsor the free showing of the 90 minute documentary film, “Chasing Ice.”  The film portrays the long-term impact on ancient glaciers through beautiful time-lapsed photography of glaciers calving and melting and their environmental impact and what it means for future generations.

We will follow the film with a brief discussion and have post cards for you to send to your NC senators to let them know your concerns regarding global warming and it’s impact on our planet.

The Chatham Community Library is located at 197 Highway 87 North, in Pittsboro, NC  27312.

Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult. We will start the film promptly at 7:05 pm.
