2014 has brought me to a place where, I believe, we have worked out a majority of the kinks after only 8 months. Whew! LOL….It is certainly not an easy business to be in, but all I can tell you is that I am having the time of my life, learning so much not only about the business but how to deal with people. That is a gift only a few ever do well. I’m not saying I am doing it well, but I know I have improved beyond what I have imagined. We have some great employees, who weathered the storm of inconsistencies and uncertainty over the past 8 months and we can all see smooth seas on the horizon. I thank all of them daily and individually and I know that you will enjoy your experience all the more because of them.
New Year’s Eve
This party was the best New Years Eve party I have ever been to in my life! It was an absolute blast! We all had so much fun eating, drinking, dancing, celebrating, meeting new folks. I can’t wait until next year. If anyone has photos of the evening, please forward them to me so I can upload them to the website.
Christmas Eve Dinner
What a blessing to all. Served 315 people, turned many away because we ran out of food for the first time. I’m only sorry that we couldn’t send our leftovers to the Pittsboro Firemen and the Women’s Shelter as we do every year. We may have to limit the number of plates people take with them. Food and cash donations prior to the event were down this year but every penny Bob and I spent was returned in the donation jar at the front desk that night. God certainly is good to us. We need photos from the Christmas Eve dinner too, so if you have any that you can pass on to me, I would appreciate it.
New Menu
We have launched our new menu, few changes, some deletions, sandwich additions to the lunch menu, lunch special of a mini pizza with 2 toppings and a soda/tea all for $5.00. I have attached our complete menu for you to have. It is only on two pages for your convenience. Don’t forget we have our drive up window if you call in an order to pick up.
