Chatham County Still Needs Veterinarian to Serve on the Board of Health

PITTSBORO– The Chatham County Board of Health is still in need of a veterinarian who lives in the county to apply to fill a vacancy in its membership.. Interested residents should submit applications by Nov. 4, 2013.

The Board of Health is the policy and rule-making board for the Chatham County Public Health Department and members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners.  The board meets at least 10 times per year on the fourth Monday of the month in Pittsboro.

The new appointee would serve until June 30, 2014, but would be eligible for reappointment for a full three-year term.
