Subject: Call for Nominations Now Open for Leadership Triangle’s 2013 Goodmon Awards Presented by Carolina Hurricanes
Leadership Triangle, a nonprofit organization that develops regional leaders and promotes regionalism across the separate communities in the Research Triangle region, is calling for nominations for the 2013 Goodmon
Awards. The awards, named after James F. Goodmon, CEO of Capitol Broadcasting and chair emeritus of Leadership Triangle, recognize outstanding, regionally-minded Triangle leaders and organizations. Awards are given in five categories:
1. community service
2. arts/sports/entertainment
3. economic development
4. strategic partnership
5. Goodmon Fellow
(alumnus of a Leadership Triangle program).
Nominations will be accepted until September 30, 2013 at 5 p.m. Nominees can be an individual or organization whose leadership has had measurable regional impact. More information and nomination forms can be

Awards will be presented at the Leadership Triangle Awards Gala, presented by the Carolina Hurricanes on December 9, 2013 at Bay 7 in the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, North Carolina.
