Chatham Seeks Private Sector Applicants for Workforce Development Board

PITTSBORO- Chatham County has a vacancy on the Triangle South Workforce Board, which helps coordinate workforce development efforts in Chatham, Harnett, Lee and Sampson counties. The board especially seeks someone from the private sector for this position.

One of the board’s major roles is oversight of the One-Stop Career Centers (JobLink), which delivers comprehensive services for job seekers and employers seeking workers.

By Sept. 4, 2013, interested applicants should complete the nomination form found on the webpage and return it to the address provided on the form.

The Triangle South Workforce Board’s nominating committee will review the nominations and make a recommendation to the Chatham County Board of Commissioners, who will make the appointment.
