Subject: Rape and stuff…
It could be Chairman Voller has it wrong. Rape could be too strong a word.
Our poor statehouse is currently full of ideologues who don’t understand women, or science, or latinos, or energy–or business for that matter.
NC currently has one of the hottest business climates for solar electricity generation. We have thousands of jobs, and major economic development in this sector right now, and we are about to give it all away in favor of
fossilized business as usual.
NC currently has an impressive biotech sector with thousands of jobs, and a major contribution to our tax base, and we are putting it all at risk by refusing to “allow” current data and ignoring scientific consensus.
We might not be getting raped–but we are being sent back in time.
Right now we are working on scrapping our Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard (the only voter approved one of its kind in the Southeast) while we beg to increase off shore drilling.
There’s an idea. Let’s abandon free sunshine that is working well so that we can have an NC version of Deep Water Horizon.
I should say that I post this with some trepidation. I’m worried anonymous trolls that I have never met might rip me to shreds.
Fortunately I have found a way to convert all of their signatures to simply “Fraidycat.”
