Subject: Parks and Rec Upcoming Events
Registration for basketball and wrestling begins October 1st and ends on October 31st. The cost is $30.00 for residents and $40.00 for non-residents.
Registration is now available online, just visit our website at www.chathamnc.org and click on the Online Registration link on our department webpage. You can also visit the website directly at https://recreation.chathamnc.org.

Whimsy Paint courses are still being offered one Saturday each month at the Parks and Rec office. No experience is necessary and supplies and coffee are provided. The next session will be held on October 20th at 10:30 am for men and women ages 16 and up. The cost will be $25.00 and the theme will be Witch-tini. We will be hosting Trunk or Treat at Southwest District Park on Friday, October 26 from 6-8pm. Southwest Park is located at 15124 NC Highway 902, next to Chatham Central High School. We will have games, trick-or-treating, inflatables, and an outdoor movie. The outdoor movie will be ET and will begin at 8pm, so please bring a chair or
blanket if you plan to stay for the movie. This event is free to the public, so please join us. If you would like to decorate your trunk for this event, please contact Parks and Rec at 919-545-8553 and ask for Rocco Richard or e-mail <mailto:>.
