Subject: Kids Day at the Siler City Farmer’s Market this Saturday!!!
Bring the little ones to the Siler City Farmer’s Market on Saturday, October 13 for a fun-filled morning sponsored by Smart Start. The market is open from 9:30 until 1 pm on Saturdays and is located at 118 W. Second St in downtown Siler City, right behind the Courtyard Cafe.
The Chatham County Partnership for Children will be providing arts and crafts and other fun activities geared towards young children under five. Phyllis Smith of Chatham County Cooperative Extension will be on hand to demonstrate kid-friendly recipes using seasonal local produce.
Visitors can sample the dishes and take home recipes and tips on encouraging young children to eat healthy local foods.
