Subject: Donated books needed for Day of the Books /Dia de los Libros
April 28 is The Day of the Books – EL DIA DE LOS LIBROS at Bray Park in Siler City, including fun and creative activities, sponsored by Child Care Networks, to inspire children to want to read.
We want every child to go home with at least one new and gently used book to encourage their reading interest.
But we need your help to make that happen. Please check your children or grandchildren’s book shelves for books that might be suitable for donating.
Angelina’s Kitchen in Pittsboro has agreed to have a large box to receive donations through April 23. We are grateful to receive any adult short novels and any bilingual books as well.
