Subject: Our county has benefited from the Pittsboro General Store Café for numerous years.

The owners and management have supported Chatham County and its residents with opened doors to countless non-profits and organizations – sharing the space for the profit of others.  And for just as long, many county residents have enjoyed their famous Pittsburittos and other dishes, desserts and beverages.  We’re glad to see that they are improving to continue providing good food, good tunes and a great space for all to gather.

Just the other night we returned with a newbie to Chatham to share one of our county’s fine establishments.  We were promptly shown to a table and the wait talked to us about the wine selection and beer availability and later Daniel the barkeep came out to talk to us about the Café’s beer selections.  We had the tasty smoked tomato bisque, Pittsburrito, BLT sandwich, Pulled Pork sandwich, berry cobbler with ice cream and pecan pie.  We left satisfied with good food, good service and good company.  And while dining we were able to see other friends and acquaintances too.

We had to leave before the trivia night began but it looked like there were plenty to play.  Let’s all keep returning to support a business that has supported so many of us by hosting our volunteer organizations.

We need to help all our Chatham County small businesses by giving them our patronage!
