Subject: Passing of a Chatham County friend
Dear Chatlist Friends,
I note with sadness the passing on of a dear Chatham County friend who lived for many years in the Saralynn community and was living in Mebane at the time of her passing.
DEBRA JO DETER
Debra Jo Deter of Mebane, passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at the age of 60.
She was the beloved sister of Jean (Bill) Janssen and Susan Barron; dear aunt to Michael Janssen, Megan Barron, Kirby Barron, Louisa Janssen and the dear daughter of the late Francis and Paul Deter and a treasured friend to many.
She was involved in various endeavors in the food industry, including her own Cottage Rose Tearoom. She was a wonderful chef, a doting mother to her menagerie of animals, and a colorful and inspiring presence to all.
