Subject: Neighbors Beware
Our neighbor got a call on his cell night before last, then to his house an hour or so later from a man saying his name was Jacob Staley. He was calling in regard to the siting of a few wild ferrel hogs in our area. Told them to stay inside, bring in all the outside animals and turn out the lights.
I contacted John Sauls at Animal Control who said this person is not affiliated with his office and they have heard nothing. I blew it off to a practical joke, until last night.
My mother receives a call from someone saying their name was Jason Jeremiah, same story except for it has risen to 30 to 40 hogs this time. Turn out the lights, bring in all the animals and not to go outside if she heard anything. Now the hair is standing up on the back of my neck, sounds like someone is checking around to steal stuff. She reported it to the sheriffs department. We live out on Alston Chapel Church Road, neighbors beware.
