Subject: Council on Aging Food Pantry in Need
Are you looking to give back to your community, but have no time to volunteer? How about helping out in another way, by simply dropping off some groceries to help someone in need?!
The Chatham County Council on Aging is currently in great need of goods for our food pantries at both the Siler City and Pittsboro Senior Centers. We need food such as canned vegetables, pasta, rice, canned/dry beans, peanut butter, canned/dry fruit, dry milk, pasta sauce, soups, crackers, mac n cheese, tuna/canned chicken, juices, and oatmeal. We also take toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, comb/brush, and soap.
All donations are greatly appreciated and guaranteed to go only to those in need.
For more information or to donate, please contact Brett Moraes at 919-542-4512 or brett.moraes@chathamcouncilonaging.org. Donations can be dropped off at the Eastern Chatham Senior Center, 365 Highway 87 North, Pittsboro, NC 27312 or at the Western Chatham Senior Center,112 Village Lake Road, Siler City, NC 27344.
