We invite you to join us this week for one of these programs:
Tuesday, May 17
9:30 a.m.: Story time for children ages birth to 2
10:30 a.m.: Preschool story time
Wednesday, May 18
6:00 p.m.: Introduction to Social Networking. Learn the basics of setting up a social networking account such as Facebook or Twitter. Participants should be familiar with basic computer operation. Space is limited to 15 participants and pre-registration is required. Call (919) 545-8086 to register.
Thursday, May 19
7:30 p.m.: The Friends of the Chatham Community Library present a program on saving the earth’s topsoil. Dirt! The Movie will be shown as part of the program. Registration is not required.
Friday, May 20
10:00 a.m.: Common Thread (the library crafters’ group). Bring your favorite needlework project and a snack. Newcomers are always welcome.
10:30 a.m.: Preschool story time
4:00 p.m.: Acclaimed children’s author Jeanne Birdsall will read from and discuss the newest book in the Penderwicks series, “The Penderwicks at Point Mouette.” A book signing will follow the program. This will be Ms. Birdsall’s only Triangle appearance. Copies of her books will be available to purchase.
