Subject: IMPORTANT!! COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEETING
Chatham County Residents:
After attending the last Chatham County Commissioner’s Meeting, I decided that I will attend as many as I can, and stand firm in my convictions. ALL should attend the next meeting, Monday, May 2, 2011, 6pm at the Ag Building in Pittsboro, located behind the gas station that is on the circle.
Up for discussion is LAND USE IN CHATHAM COUNTY. Mr. Bock, the chair for this committee, and has the belief that there are no decisions to be made because he has made them for the county. Mr. Bock is what happens, when we as residents, sit back and get lax about county concerns. Well, our county is NOT in safe hands.
Attend the meeting Monday at 6pm and see for yourselves how these Commissioner’s meetings are conducted, and what is going on behind our backs. This is very important for the future of Chatham county.
Hope to see many people at this meeting,
Lynn
Ms. Fass, Contact me ASAP regarding your concerns. This is v. real! The NC legislature is attempting to address what amounts to a crisis for rural residents with bills that are currently wending their way through the legislative process. W/o these, all farming within the 17 Piedmont communities are expected to be bankrupted by about 2013 as a result of water contamination from ongoing development. It’s a complicated but very serious matter. MKille.
