Subject: Free Book Swap
Paperbacks Plus! will be a participant as a recycling resource in the EARTH DAY CELEBRATION – LET’S TALK TRASH ON on Saturday April 30th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
This event will be held at the Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro.
We are encouraging everyone to clean out their shelves and bring in any books they are ready to part with. You may leave as many books as you wish and look through and take as many books as you wish. This is a wonderful way to make space in your house, to practice recycling and to go home with some new books to read…..all for FREE!
Any books left at the end of the day will be taken to Paperbacks Plus! and donated. In the past we have donated to churches, Boy Scouts and the Rotary Club auctions to help raise funds for their groups. We also donate to various Senior groups, the library for their book sales and to the VA Hospital. All books are found a good home and are never made to feel unloved.
Come out for the day and enjoy the various presentations, children’s activities, food vendors, giveaways and other swap sites that will be there.
