Mother’s Day with the Goathouse Refuge to host “Cat Eggs, Timballo, & Opera” Fundraiser May 8th.
The Goathouse Refuge in Pittsboro, NC will be hosting “Cat Eggs, Timballo, & Opera,” a fundraiser to cap off our spring fund drive in The Garden at the Goathouse Refuge on Sunday, May 8th from 1:00-5:00 p.m.
The event includes a dinner of Timballo, a traditional Italian dish, along
with a performance by the Triangle Opera Studios. There will also be fancy
hat contest, a live auction including art donated by local Triangle artists,
as well as a weekend vacation to an Italian Villa, with all proceeds
benefiting The Goathouse Refuge.
The Goathouse Refuge is the largest nonprofit ‘no-kill’ cat shelter in North Carolina, supporting and rehabilitating over 200 cats from around the Triangle area. We also offer adoption services and long-term care for cats that cannot be adopted out.
We invite everyone to come and tour our beautiful Gardens and enjoy a wonderful afternoon for a good cause. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the gate with tickets for children under 12 only $10.
