We have lots of new jewelry, paintings, scarves, sculpture, pottery, woodworks, etc. to peruse, inspire and purchase. Brand new artists include Maryphyllis Horn with Norwegian rosmaling, Beth Shaffer with wind chimes, Garrett Cathcart with an exceptionally beautiful table for your flat screen tv, and just in today original music cds by Gasoline Stove. So come any time — and especially for these 2nd & 4th Friday music & poetry events and
the Vision & Voice project presentations by writers & artists on Saturday afternoon, March 19.
Rhonda Robichaux – Sultry vocals and smoky guitar ~ an innovative swampy blend of New Orleans blues, jazz, swing ~ classics and originals. Friday, March 11, 7 – 9pm
Vision & Voice – The Marriage of Pen & Pallette
Writers reading their pieces inspired by art, Artists presenting their inspirations. Part of Chatham County Art Summit. Saturday March 19, 3 – 5pm
On the Way to Rumi Sharon Blessum & Gregory Blaine Weaving together Sharon’s poetry, Rumi’s, Gregory’s sensitive sounds of flute, didge, drum, bells, as their intuitive connection invites others into the mystical landscape. Friday March 25, 7 – 9pm.
GEB, a 5- piece band playing original eclectic music
Hailing from Raleigh, the Geb play primarily their own songs, which resemble a mix of alt-country, jazz, with a little indie-rock thrown in. Friday, April 8, 7 – 9pm.
And – weekly on Saturdays 1 – 3pm-ish, Gregory Blaine from Rootzie plays his soulful originals in the Gallery.
