Subject: Help CARE save more lives
If your unspayed female cat (or dog) is not in heat now, she will be soon. Cats go into heat this time of year and by the end of March kitten season will be in full swing. There will be more kittens available than there are homes for them and the shelter will be full of kittens who have no chance of placement.
Please spay your female cat or dog NOW and help CARE save more lives.
Qualifying Chatham residents can spay or neuter their pets for a $20 co-pay through CARE. We also spay/neuter kittens and puppies for $5 when mom is spayed at the same time. But, please help us save more lives by spaying your female pet NOW so we don’t have to spay and neuter all the kittens and puppies later and you won’t be trying to find them homes until well into summer.
Call CARE at 542-5757 and ask for an application today. Or go to our website at www.chathamanimalrescue.org, click on any spay/neuter link and download our application.
Or contact the Chatham County Animal Shelter about their low cost spay/neuter program at 542-7203.
If you don’t qualify for CARE’s program or the program sponsored by the Animal Shelter, contact CARE for information about other low cost spay/neuter alternatives in the area.
Thank you.
