Subject: Animal Control Regulations
State law and local ordinance require that dog owners attach their dogs’ current valid rabies vaccination tag to their dogs’ collars. As a practical matter, these tags are often lost. Therefore it is important that owners file their rabies vaccination certificates where they can easily find them.
State law and local ordinance require that finders of dogs and other animals report same to Animal Control. 542-7203. Animal Control maintains an active lost and found service.
Animal Control strongly urges all dog and cat owners to write their phone numbers directly on their pets’ collars.
