Subject: Northwood Sports Update
The Northwood varsity boys won against Cedar Ridge on Friday 71-52 while our Varsity Girls 50-43 and both JV teams lost close games. On Sat., we had a triple header against JM and the varsity girls and boys lost while the JV boys won a thriller 56-55.
The wrestling team traveled to Person High School and did well in an Individual Tournament. Jourdon Blackmon placed 4th,
Wyatt Kimmy 3rd, Devin Herdon and Trent Harris 2nd while Zack Vanhoy placed 1st.
This week in sports:
On Friday we rescheduled Granville Central to come to Northwood on Friday due to a make-up match.
On Sat. Northwood Charger Cup Wrestling Tournament
This is the only wrestling tournament Northwood hosts so come out and support the Chargers!
