Subject: Chatham County Fair
I’m a graphic designer and have been working on the brochure for the Chatham County Fair – it celebrates 60 years this year! The Chatham County Fair is a great opportunity for local folks to show off their best recipes and promote the fruits of their labor in gardens and farms across the county. It’s a great community event. There are literally dozens of categories that people can compete in and it’s not too late to enter check out the Fair’s website:

The fairgrounds are located behind the Pittsboro Food Lion on East Highway 64 Business (where the Pittsboro Farmer’s Market is held).
Chatham County Fair Schedule Overview:
Opening Day / Wed., Sept. 29
5pm Gates Open
ALL high school and younger students admitted FREE
Health Day / Thurs, Sept. 30
6pm Gates Open
Senior Day / Friday, Oct. 1
10am–Noon Gates Open for Seniors
6pm Gates Open to the Public
6:30pm Gospel Music Celebration
An evening of inspirational songs from local choirs & groups
10pm High school & younger students admitted HALF PRICE after 10pm
Saturday, Oct. 2
10am Gates Open
12 Noon–4pm Music Extravaganza (groups TBA)
5pm–7pm Youth Talent Search
Admission
Adults $4.00
Children (6–12) $3.00
Children (5 and under) FREE
Handicap patrons FREE ADMISSION every day when accompanied by a caregiver.
