Subject: Great Kids & Great Parents
CORA (Chatham Outreach Alliance) gave away food in 2008 and 2009 to over 1,600 hungry families in Chatham County. This was just one tidbit of information that kids and parents learned as they toured CORA last Sunday, in order for them to increase their awareness of hunger in our community and how to respond compassionately.
gracepoint and Pittsboro Presbyterian Church partner together to offer kids and parents a place and space to gather, grow and gain insight from one another.
Creation Care is the theme for 2010 and will include community service projects and field trips. This Sunday, kids and parents gather at Pittsboro Prebyterian Church in preparation for “Souper Bowl Sunday” in which the kids are collecting money and food donations to go to CORA.
