Subject: regarding the vendors at the old Ford location
In response to Ms. Milner’s post regarding the vendors at the old Ford location –these vendors are providing residents another source of goods and services just like the other businesses in Pittsboro. They pay to use the Ford lot so that they can set up their shops: Noel who has great produce and now sales Christmas trees and wreaths; the Mobile Espresso van; and the hot dog folks. They are NOT taking away from area businesses. They are adding additional choices for us Chathamites.
I would love to see more vendors using the old Ford lot. Personally, I like this open-market feel with the vendors at the old Ford lot.
