Subject: Big Daddy Dog’s thanks you!
Hello everyone! I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you who have went out of their way to stop by and grab a hot dog or just to welcome me and my husband as a new small business in Pittsboro. Mobile or not, we are still a local business and we are here to stay. My schedule is to be out at the Old Ford Dealership Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 2:00pm for the lunch crowd. If I have extra hot dogs cooked and I don’t have to go to one of my son’s basketball games I will try to stay through 3:00pm or 3:30pm. Even if it’s cold (except below freezing) I will be out there.
The only times you won’t see me is if it’s raining. I didn’t come out today because I saw on the weather radar where the snow/rain was suppose to hit Pittsboro around noon and I thought I best not set up just to tear back down. So please stop by and see me, even if it’s just to chat. I love meeting the locals and getting to know you all. That’s really the best part of all this! And be patient with my “buns”. I am new to this whole hot dog thing and I am trying to perfect the steaming process. The Bread Shop has made new buns for us (they are a tad bit smaller) and they steam pretty well so I will try and perfect that part the best I can.
Also, be on the lookout next month for an outreach that we will be doing to support the Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services located on East Street. We hope to plan two days next month where all of our proceeds will go to support them as well as put out a collection box for various items they need for their Garden Place Shelter. My husband and I are so blessed and we want to give back as much as we can. Watch for information forth coming.
Merry Christmas everyone!
