Subject: It’s officially SPIDER WEEK!!!
Dearest, Chatlisters
It’s not Shark Week yet, that’s in July.
The past few days of warm weather have undoubtedly amounted into this week becoming SPIDER WEEK! A quick trip under the house with a very powerful (custom Eric Shook Flashlight) removed doubts that it’s time to spider proof the house once again.
Like a scene from “Arachnophobia”-circa 1990, I was face to face with a foundation wall covered with with adult brown spiders. Last night I woke up and found one on the headboard of my bed. Not a good feeling.
I’ve decided it’s time to break out the Mint-Oil based POISON FREE bug spray we carry at the store. It’s worked well inside and outside the house for establishing that defensive perimeter around windows, thresholds, baseboards, under appliances, mailboxes and around the foundation. Along with killing the random spider that made it through my Maginot line.
My concern about this issue is my two year old son crossing paths with either a spider or toxic sprays I feel we offer the safer alternative in using a Poison Free Insecticide — plus you get that fresh minty smell throughout the house.
Can anyone take a stab at what kind of spiders I saw??
What are your plans for defense when it comes to spiders??
Thanks
