Subject: Nov.19, Wake-Up Wed.
Wake-Up Wednesday is an upbeat and fast-paced gathering designed for people and organizations to share resources, information, and news about their work in Chatham. In a productive and tightly organized program we talk about our interests, upcoming events, and resources– what we need, and what we can share.
The next meeting is Wed., Nov. 19 at the Community House, Thompson Street in Pittsboro. Chris Bouton from the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for the Town of Pittsboro will be the keynote speaker discussing projects, policy, and funding for parks and recreation amenities in the Town and ETJ. Admission is $5 and includes a delicious breakfast from Our Neighborhood School. Doors open at 8 am. Program starts at 8:30 and ends at 9:30.
Anyone participating or interested in collaborating to make Chatham County a better place to live, learn, work, grow and thrive is encouraged to attend. Bring your business cards and your literature to share and a door prize to give away if you’d like to promote your organization. Questions about Wake-up Wednesday? Call 919-542-0394.
