Monk! You are so right about the City Tap.
My husband and I were in there today, after cruising the Marketplace (for a marvelous brunch), and first Sunday, where I was able to get some very nice Christmas gifts, and we loved it! The decor is beautiful, with both lots of room inside for stretching your legs, and a deck for sitting, plus a pavilion type set up for music.
Might I also mention that these folks have a Reuben sandwich that the owner (don’t recall his name) says “it’s to die for!”, and only for $6.50..hard to find a decent reuben at that price! They also have very, very COLD beer on tap or in the bottle, and that includes Heineken, Millers, Buds, etc., and are looking into stocking Corolla, also. I was very impressed, and intend to definitely check out their menu more thoroughly.
Also, folks, if you haven’t checked out Unity Books on Main st. yet, you should..very good iced mochas, expressos, etc. And a very eclectic collection of books, jewelry, etc. A pleasant surprise, with warm attentive staff, also.
