Subject: Donations for Quality Of Life Items To Our Troops
Paperbacks Plus! is once again collecting items to help bring a touch of home to our deployed US forces. We will be collecting through October 31 so please make sure if you wish to donate something it is in the store by that time. Thank you for all the wonderful responses we have had in the past years and let’s make this year even better!!
Drop off of donations will be at 208 E. Raleigh Street during the hours of:
Wednesday 9-1
Thursday and Friday 12-5:30
Saturday 10:30-5
Please call 742-4033 for any questions.
Items that are requested are:
SNACKS
Individually wrapped pieces of hard candy (Twizzlers, Tootsie Rolls, Skittles, Life Savers, Sweet Tarts, etc)
Peanuts, pretzels, and other such snack foods
Sweetened Kool-Aid, Gatorade and sweetened drink mixes
Coffe, sugar, Creamer, hot chocolate, hot cider packets and tea bags
No home made items (cookies, etc.) can be sent. Chocolate bars and other such candies cannot be sent due to the heat.
TOILETRY ITEMS
Shaving cream, razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste
Shower soap/gel, hand sanitizer, hand lotion
Wet Wipes
OTHER ITEMS
Sunscreen
Wrap around sunglasses
Batteries
Blank Greeting Cards
Stationary
Flea collars – at least 4 are used per person to protect against sand fleas
Phone Cards
LEISURE ITEMS

We also have donated Christmas cards at the store if you wish to come by and sign one to be included in the package
