Subject: Need a spot on Hwy 64 in Siler City for a motorcycle awareness sign
If anyone owns property on Hwy 64 in Siler City and would allow us to place a yellow motorcycle awareness sign near the highway, please contact the Chatham County Concerned Bikers Association.
We are a non-profit motorcycle riders group who also promote motorcycle safety for bike riders and motorcycle awareness for car drivers. We have purchased and installed several yellow motorcycle awareness signs around Pittsboro and we would also like to place one near Siler City.
We are looking for people who have property on Hwy 64 in or near Siler City who would allow us to place a 4′ high x 8′ wide yellow motorcycle awareness sign on your property. If you are a motorcyclist or know a motorcyclist, you may want one on your property as we believe these signs save lives.
We will pay for the sign and install it. That’s all you would have to do is contact us with your address and exactly where you would like the sign, and we will come out and install it. (Placing a stake in the ground or a mark on the ground would also help us put it in the desired spot. (Per the Chatham County sign ordinance, it must be at least 30 feet from the edge of the road.)
We could also meet in front of your property and you could show us.) If at any time you decide you want the
sign removed, we will remove it immediately. Please contact me if you would consider allowing us to place a sign on your property near the highway. BTW – We only have one more sign left and want to place it near Siler City. Thank you for your time. Vin (919) 522-4922
